Beachtree Protocols

Greetings, all who will be guests at Beachtree Studio this spring! I am honored to have WSMTA events held at my studio, and hope the following protocols will help you with what to expect.

There is a limit of 4 people in the studio at one time. The exception to this is if there is a family member who is also participating in the event and is awaiting their turn to perform. This would move the limit up to five people.

Every person in the studio will wear a mask.

It is understood that anyone entering the studio is not exhibiting any signs of illness (fever, sniffles, cough, etc.). The studio reserves the right to respectfully ask that person to leave, if that is the case.

Performers will enter via the studio entrance, and exit through the door that leads to the garage. Signs will be posted to help guide you, so don’t worry if you forget this one!

Performers will wash their hands prior to their performance.

The piano keys will be sanitized with hydrogen peroxide between each performance.

Beachtree Studio will:

  • Provide hand sanitizer and masks for any guests who are in need.

  • Arrange seating so everyone is beyond a six foot distance from the others in the space.

And finally, here are some specific directions about arrival and parking:

Directions to Beachtree Studio

(at the home of Bonnie Rees)

197 Raft Island Drive NW

Gig Harbor, WA 98335

Call/text: 253-255-6258

Directions: Navigation will take you to Kopachuck Drive, and the turnoff to the Raft Island bridge. Cross the bridge, and proceed to the right on Raft Island Drive. You will pass the sign to the All Saints Camp. Shortly after that, your navigation will say you have “arrived”, but that is actually 197A, our neighbor’s home. Proceed down the driveway, towards the water. Now you really have arrived!

Parking: Park by backing in towards the rock wall in the parking area. This allows for traffic flow, and enables more cars to park in our not-so-big parking area! You are also welcome to park at the top of the driveway, alongside Raft Island Drive, and walk down to the studio.
